Prentke Romich Company (PRC) is dedicated to providing communication solutions for individuals who are non-verbal and industry-best support to those clients and their teams. This two-hour class will provide an introduction to the hardware, software, and support from PRC. Access methods available on PRC products, including touch, switch scanning, NuPoint, and NuEye will be shown, and current devices will be available for hands-on exploration. The various language software options available on PRC devices (including the Unity family of vocabularies, Word Power, and Essence) will be demonstrated, giving participants an understanding of which software options are appropriate for different clients. Finally, product training, implementation support, and other resources will be reviewed. This course is intended for any individual wanting to learn about PRC products and services. 

Immediately following the PRC sponsored training, the SWAAAC program will offer an Open Lab opportunity for hands-on experiences with the Loan Library’s PRC devices.
